The Austerlitz Graphical User Interface (GUI)
- Graphically combines all regional and political map information complete with terrain, population, ownership, resource and production site icons.
- Performs all calculations and warehouse transfers for brigade setup, production site builds, ship maintenance, etc.
- Outputs your orders into a file that is uploaded directly into the Austerlitz program, thus eliminating input errors.
- Calculates movement costs when plotting movement.
- Read and write diplomatic mail and anonymous newsletter articles, to be mailed with your orders.
- Prints the turn report and maps so you can get away from the computer.
- Other features are described in the online GUI Instructions.
With the GUI you will complete a turn more quickly than in the paper-based version, permiting you to spend as much time as you like examining the map's details, plotting the movements of your troops, and coordinating your Empire to perfection.
